Angat Dam in Norzagaray, Bulacan
August 13th of every year is ARAW NG NORZAGARAY and a special non-working holiday throughout the 1st class municipality.
It is in commemoration of a historic moment when the erstwhile barrio seceded from Angat as a distinct and independent political unit some 152 years ago.
Araw ng Norzagaray symbolizes the dreams and aspirations of the townspeople to govern themselves and chart their own destiny.
Araw ng Norzagaray and its proclamation as a special day was principally sponsored at the Sangguniang Bayan in 1996 by Councilor Teddy Gener.
Mabuhay ang Norzagaray!
